Derby Tup Jul 2021 11:54am, 27 Jul 2021 51,214 posts	0 Derby Tup When I did the BG in 2010 I did dozens of hill reps on Ilkley Moor. From memory each rep was 550 feet climb / 0.75 mile. There’s a big cairn at the top and a fantastic view. I swore I’d never do another after succeeding at the BG but I did go up again a few weeks later to say hello to the cairn and see the view

Also the soles of my feet became quite damaged and started to feel it by the later stages. Hope recovery is going well, I'm still In the lakes for another couple of days with no intention of looking at another hill 😉

On one hand i would like to go back to right some wrongs from this year and on the other i'm not sure i want to do the training to get me there. I've barely run since this year's race and quite enjoying the freedom of minimal training. I did see Marc was on the windup today, it amuses me to think people get caught out and don't do their research
