Decision made, I'm not wearing my running Garmin during the event. 50 mile event across varied terrain, mile splits are irrevelant.

Just wondering you all- should we maintain fetchie anonymity or should we say hello? I'll be wearing a baldy head, approx 11 stone, 5ft 9 and 16 % body fat, white Lakeland trails t shirts, black shorts and black Karrimor backpack conveniently reduced from £50 to £20 :) hahahahahahahaha

I too will be sporting my baldness. I'll be racing in a white Delamere Spartans shirt but will probably be sporting my Fetch top around base camp. I'll be in a massive tent with the family (inc. 3yr old boy and baby girl). It would be nice to put some more faces to names so do come over and say hello. I'm heading up on Friday morning to cheer the 100-ers off and soak up the atmosphere.

Staying in Ambleside from Friday for a week.

Hope to get to Coniston to register before the 100-ers (hard core nutters) start.

Need to remember to wear shorts for the weighin or the girls will get me to start on the scales in my boxers again.

For the race I'll be wearing all black (as usual) rucksack will be wiggle.co.uk

As we get a coach to Dalemain that will be a good opportunity to have a chat. Last year bored vamosprabalada with a lecture on all the Wainwrights seen on the journey!

I will likely be the heaviest starter on the 100 again!
Will be wearing stuff and have family and big tent up this year.

First 30 miles are brutal but great scenery.
