Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Last night I did Troutbeck to Chapel Stile with 4 other L50 ers from the running club. Was brilliant as we did this in the dark and with race packs on for potential race simulation. Route was ok and not too destroying - if only it'll be like that on the day after 30 miles ;)

Nice one Bez. I'm signed up for the training day at the end of March and I'm looking forward to getting out on the course.

21 mile bonk training for me today but I didn't bonk. Must have been running on last night's crisps and popcorn.

Oh I forgot to mention we were most preturbed on many occasions last night as the lakeland 50 /100 Roadbook directions kept on saying "go past the pub".

I make no apology but WHAT....go PAST the pub!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! was bloody torture ;)

I had to rely on cider from a passing stranger during the 50 first time around. Technically a DQ offence I think, but it was *so* good on a hot day :)

Well you see Flanker my argument would be "made use of the environment presented with at the time, improvised, adapted and overcame" ;)

Cheers Flanker...will pop to Sainsburys then :-). Free cider eh? Not sure that would help my night time navigation much.
