Lake Baikal Ice Marathon

I live in Northern Iceland, so I am used to running on ice, but probably not quite this cold. I'd love to hear from any of you who have given it a go. Looks fab but kind of terrifying...

I think that if I were to do it, I'd want to get there on the trans-siberian, rather than just flying in. There are stories about British runners in this race in previous years in a couple of the national newspapers (telegraph & mail) telegraph.co.uk

That was run on packed ice. Great fun but I have never been so cold afterwards. This looks rather more difficult.
