I've braved Ravelry for the first time in a very long time. Deleted a load of messages about yarn listed for sale, moved nearly all my yarn into Not For Sale because I've gone off the idea of selling it and skedaddled before I could get enabled. Wasn't that scary after all.

I don’t participate in the threads on Ravelry so my main problem is buying too many patterns of things I love but will never knit, never mind wear.

I did that a decade ago, Tikka. So many beautiful useless flat things! Last time I read the threads there was a spate of competitive social contagion going on regarding the dramatic physical symptoms people were suffering as a result of the changed design of the site.

I have a large drawer full of Stephen West shawls which I enjoyed knitting, were not cheap to knit so I’m reluctant to send to the charity shop, and yet I can’t envisage a time or place where I’d think wearing a shawl would be a good idea.

Glad you're not as bad as you could have been, heal well Tikka

I guess I'll be pretty unpopular if I start another row now!
