And you can always undo it and go again! Learning from our practice is what we're doing not making mistakes. We try to do something, it doesn't come out quite right, so we think about what to change for the next time. There's lots of good stuff about doing colour work on the web, and it is all down to tension and where you put the loop of unused colour. I don't like intarsia and find it hard to make even colour changes in that. But I could do fair isle all the time (until it got boring). |

You get used to the tension you need for neat colourwork with practice. I learned early because I watched my mum doing it and nobody told me it was too hard.
