I just need to vent
I’m trying to cut out a shirt - the lines of elephants aren’t quite straight so when folded in half the bottom fabric is offset from the upper layer. Obviously this isn’t much of an issue with the back but I’m trying to fold it so that the two fronts end up being less jarring lo offset where they meet in the middle and it’s doing my head in!

I think you need to cut them separately, as long as you have enough fabric.

I'm currently making a cardigan... It's taking a while.

But it'll be lovely and drapey when it's done particularly as it's a silk merino mix.

It's going to be a gift for a friend at work.

Anything Pix!

I have a book of one-skein wonders which includes scarves, mittens, hats etc.

If you’ve got more then one skein you can make garments or bigger blankets.

Try a search on Ravelry for projects using the specific sort of yarn you have or just look for anything with the right thickness of yarn.

See my demands are challenging

Needs to be easy as I have limited skills
And most importantly kitten proof!
Easy to pick up put down and discreet

The cardigan pattern I'm working on is pretty easy - it's a top down, one piece, construction, so you do some increasing for the shaping until you slip the arm holes onto something to hold them (waste yarn, usually), then it's just straight rows all the way down (we'll, down then you turn it sideways and add a band going perpendicularly, but it's still just straight rows).

It's called Amiga on rav.
