Help please...

I need to choose a new kitchen sink and of course being me I chose one I liked because it’s the colour I wanted (grey). The reviews on it which I didn’t look at are not good for it’s scratches do it’s going back.

Can you give ideas on best durable sinks - I need a 1.5 sink - thanks

I'd get the easiest one to keep clean.

£60 from Screwfix (I have no idea on the price of sinks, but screwfix are usually cheap).

I believe 'Franke' are a good brand and (I hope) don't scratch as this is what we've ordered for our new kitchen.

If it's stainless steel then thickness is an important consideration. Too thin and they can bow / buckle under load and can be incredibly loud while filling.

We have a Franke too. It's getting on for 20 years old now and I see no reason to change it. It's a bit scratched / not as shiny as when new but that's part of the character!

We're looking at a tectonite sink not stainless steel. It's coloured, heat-resistant up to 300* apparently and coated against stubborn stains and bacteria.

I hope you get sorted.

I have ordered a Frankenstein Titan - graphite grey so here’s hoping ...it’s a bloody mine field.
