I've taken a a hole punch with me to use on race numbers before and I'm pretty disorganized! I did it so the number would attach onto the Tri belt and I wouldn't have to struggle poking holes through. drove me mad on the run as it kept flapping about . I'd only ever done run events before where they were clipped in each corner. I need to try some race clips

I only ever wear a t-shirt to race in under my race vest, GM.

The holes are so small, it's not worth worrying about - and that's why I buy a race vest

(t-shirt under vest only in v cold or when likely to be colder on the tops due to wind chill. Tbh road and xc races hardly ever require the extra layer - makes you run slower!)
