I'm looking forward to it too. Not a clue about the route or about how hilly it is going to be. It'll be a very new experience for me. Race pack should arrive sometime soon I would have thought.

I remember it as not hilly but permanently undulating....apart from the mile across the dam. My memory if fallible though......

Under three weeks to go...all LSR's completed. Time for a spot of tapering - looks like a bonny route so hopefully it will be an enjoyable run!

Last long run done yesterday 22 miles but it was pancake flat. Cheeky 11 miles in the hills this afternoon. Absolutely glorious conditions. Simple matter of the Redcar Half Marathon on Sunday and then taper!!!! :D

Well, having fallen completely off the plan last week (no running at all...oops!), I consider that my taper has now started - nice comfortable 4.1 miles, with hills.

The race instructions don't say when the buses start from the Falstone car park. I emailed the organisers and they told me that the buses would start at 'about 7.30'

There's some decent footage of the route on You Tube. Looks great. Can't wait. I hope I am feeling the same way at mile 21!
