She wears tech-type layers, leggings and (sometimes) waterproofs. Another friend of mine swears by Paramo gear for canoeing. I like merino base layers. Forgot to say thanks to S for info as well. Thanks! ![]() |

I thought the ones they have in store now are their own brand? Crivet? I thought they were a little shorter than the Mistral. Our local Lidl had had badly packaged Mistral on sale recently (but before the new ones hit the shelves) and I kind of wish I'd bought it as a spare now.

Likely tragic incident unfolding at my local loch bbc.co.uk I was at loch yesterday when incident happened 17.30. Was offering to help with search just cos I'm on Lochore all the time paddleboarding, canoeing and sailing, just in case local knowledge would be useful to rescue teams who were out. Huge search with 4 boats and helicopter. By 20.00 he hadn't been found. Tragedy. His friends on shore were absolutely distraught. ![]() I had paddleboard in car, but looking at conditions for 5 mins, strong winds, though warm, decided not to venture out. Stay safe and make good choices on or before getting on or in the water please everyone. |
