I got lucky by a friend buying a SUP that was too unstable for her. I could manage on it fine so I bought it off her at a cheaper price :-)

It’s a Samphire 10'4" which is 32" wide and nearly 6" thick. Hopefully it’ll be stable enough and should take my weight.

I just looked up the dimensions and found that it’s now £45 more expensive than when I ordered it 2 days ago. Bonus :)

Sounds good to me especially the price being cheaper then when ordered.

My new one came with a free dry robe (not the dry robe) that is so massive it will fit me and hubby, thankfully they are changing for a smaller size 😂

I've joined the SUP gang! Cheapskate went with Decathlon! And on a whim, not looked at 30 different ones to compare prices and features. Hope it's OK! I collect it tonight after work from the shop and hope to have a play tomorrow! Yay, :-) G

Yay welcome to the SUP gang

When we were in Italy and France most people had the decathlon ones.

Have just brought the grandson a Lidl one for his birthday - they come with really good reviews from the Kent Paddleboarding Group

Is 10ft or 11ft better. Before you answer, the 11ft one I ordered they have just called and said no longer available and cancelled my order. So have chosen what looks same but 10ft? :-) G

Mine is a 10'4 but it's the width and thickness that is more important to me - but also depends on what you will use it on. I have a wider one which is more stable

I don’t know a lot about SUP but based on kayaking I presume width/thickness is important in terms of stability. Length possibly more important in terms of manoeuvrability. If you want to do river/white water shorter is better.
