Thanks for the info sprouty, much appreciated, I'm coming in from the Glossop area but i think i'll take the car and hope that parking is easy to find Edina yep Graham emailed me some race instructions just checked  Hope everyone has a good 10k tomo see you all there

Missed a pb by 17 seconds! My running's not been great recently so I'm actually happy with that. Stuck around to support on the final bend going into the stadium complex, I was the loon in the white shirt. Saw SE come through, and somebody else in a Fetch shirt who I'm sorry to say I didn't recognise (I think at around 65 mins, that's just a guess though so apologies if I've done somebody a disservice!) I ended up inspiring one of the stadium staff to yell some support too, so if you heard the guy in the hi-viz jacket yelling all the way down the road at people, you can thank me for that

I met JK (a pleasure as always), TT and of course the Sprout. I don't know who that other fetchie was either I think he came back to support his friend

Sprouty, that was me in the fetch top, I noticed you and thought it might be you afterwards..I had finished and went back to try and find my brother to run in with him. Like you, I came closer to a PB than I thought I would (18secs). Quite enjoyed it today!

Ah, brilliant, nice to meet you then It's not the most picturesque of courses but it's a good little race, especially if you entered when they had the early bird half price offer a few months back! |

Thinking about it, the course was clearly longer than last year - it was identical except for the detour (on both laps) around the city square bit. Odd.

I thought I saw another fetchie quite close to brother, sorry I didnt stop to say hi Edina, I promised to stick with him 'til the end...I think we met before, at an astley RR race, but I can't remember when..
