Thursday. We took 50 people last year but this year I was hoping for 150+ by inviting all our London offices (over 600 people). 63 so far Everyone pays their own entry, we supply company t-shirts and book a marquee for booze & burgers at the end. |

I don't think our company has ever been involved before but this year they are putting a team together so I've volunteered (on the understanding that I'm no sprinter!). No idea how many people they've got - wouldn't be surprised if they pull out at the last minute ... We get free entry, and apparently some food/drink afterwards BUT as I'm an evening shift worker I have to take a day's annual leave in order to participate ... one of the bugbears about working in the evenings, we miss out on loads of events unless we book a night off I'm only doing this cos it's something I enjoy. |

I was going to say, Sal, I'm sure your company must do it!

Just signed up for this for the first time. I've heard it's pretty congested but there are at least 25 people from my company doing it so it should be a fun evening!

I wonder what condition the grass sections of the course will be in for this race, after all the rain recently. Weather forecast (guesscast at three days out) is for showers (no, really?) and a cool 16 celsius. 102 runners from my company. I really do hope I've ordered in enough beer! |

Muddy at the best of times. Missing this now for first time in 5 years (daughter's school play)
