Can't find a thread so I thought I'd start one.

Crowded and twisty - so why am I doing this for the 5th year out of 6?

I have no idea. Is your employer paying for your place??

I'm in the Crisis Square Mile run next week and the StanChart City 5k, only the 5k looks like a proper race.

Trouble is, when you're known as "the runner" in the office, you can't really say no to these things.

I would have done this on 2005, only it was on 7th July and London had other things on its mind that day.

Not doing it, we have to pay for the entry ourselves, but the company usually provide hospitality (ie free barbecue and booze) - not this year though :(
53 people last year (out of about 650), so far only 7 have shown any interest! Somehow £24 for a 3.5 mile run/walk in the park seems a lot less attractive than it has in previous years!!
