I guess what I'm trying to say is that you'll get lots of advice, comments and observations but without medical training and actually seeing the injury first hand, it's very difficult for anyone to make a truly informed assessment/diagnosis of your injury. If you fear you're injured rest and seek advice from the specialists and not from forum posters...running through an injury *could* result in more long term damage.

SOD - this may be controversial but I would say stop clogging up the NHS with minor self-inflicted injuries that would clear up on their own if you just stopped running. If you want to carry on running, go and see a physio!
