Is there such a thing as the toenail fairy?

Thanks everyone for your wisdom! When this toenail eventually comes off I perhaps won't put it under the pillow, besides I think my wife would not be impressed! As for it coming off, I guess I will need to be patient...!

Ooh, I've got two toenails on the same foot "hanging by a thread" - I wonder what I should spend the money on when the fairy visits? (Better fitting shoes presumably...). On the other hand I might want to keep them as memen-toes! (Thank you very much, I'm here all week...)

Well, it's a month since marathon day and my right middle toe has a wobbly toenail, which I assume means that it's about to come off. It's a first for me, doesn't hurt but is a bit uncomfortable. I suspect it's going to take a little while to actually come off.

Would it be a good idea to tape it up or best to leave it?
