same here on ie11, click and it'll give just a jpeg of an advert, sometimes reloading sorts it, sometimes doesn't,,, bad coding hack hack hack awful cough

Ok tech bit, I don't think this is Fetch's fault, this looks like a meta refresh, and it affects Chrome mainly. You can switch this off, using a Chrome extension stop auto refresh:

chrome.google.com

What a meta refresh is, is some code that will redirect you to another site after a specified amount of time. I've had this happen on newsnow.co.uk, but it's actually down to an unscrupulous ad rather than the site. I wish there was something better than an extension to disable it. It shouldn't affect functionality elsewhere (like say turning off cookies or Javascript would do). Let me know if it works.

had bother with chrome adding extensions I didn't want, went over to ie11, no problems since, except this one

Yeah Chrome is not perfect either, and its 64 bit beta has been crashing my PC!!! However I think the auto updating Chrome/Firefox do means their browsers will continue to outpace IE.
