How do you refresh pages on an iPad? I changed my avatar a few days ago and the new one is sowing everywhere when I log on on the laptop, but the iPad keeps showing the old one.

I've done the turn it off and on again bit, but that didn't work
Feel free to show me how stupid I'm being :-)

There's a standard refresh button to the right of your address bar in Safari HB - looks like an arrow in a circle?

to refresh any apps i have i double press the round button until the screen shows all your open apps at the bottom.
i hold the first app until it starts shacking and press all the red circle with the white minus sign. this closes them down.
when you open the program it should be refreshed!
