The basic ipad is good it has a plastic screen and not glass but you don't really notice it. And the new 7th gen ipad is £349 or buy refurb. I have had several Apple refurbs over the years and can't fault them.

runnerbean Apr 2020 11:18am, 9 Apr 2020 44,661 posts	0 runnerbean I’ve an iPad 9.7 (2018) got a really good deal from curry’s when I bought it new (£329). I love it. Not too big and 32gb memory which is plenty for me . I charge it every other day atm otherwise every 3/4 day.
larkim Apr 2020 11:23am, 9 Apr 2020 10,826 posts	0 larkim I've got an Air 2 which I've had for 4 years, it's on 13.3 and working fine and dandy (as far as it can, being a horribly inflexible device as it is - would much prefer an android tablet but this one comes from work).
