Ah, I"m at the Ipswich show on the 17th, so you will have to let me know how it goes without too many spoilers π

Didn't go to the show in the end, as Covid cases were going through the roof here and I was due to visit elderly relatives over Xmas, thought it safest to give it a miss π Got Mark Salisbury's The Insider's Guide To Inside No 9 for Christmas though and have devoured it in one day! Thoroughly recommend it as an interesting read for any fan of the show...fascinating to read about how the different directors approach it all, and how Reece and Steve were eventually stretching the directors by asking them to tackle episodes that were not in their usual style. Prompted a revisit to a few episodes as well... |

Ah thatβs a shame TomTom. We had a fantastic night. Mark Salisbury was the host and the three of them were on stage discussing their relationship, writing methods and specific shows (picked from a hat at random) and it was interspersed by them performing the Superman, Crank That, Cheese and Crackers and I know Him So Well. You had to be there to appreciate I think as that just looks odd in type! The second half of the show was them answering audience questions. Weβve done the same thing and rewatched them all, in order, since. Got up to the start of series 6 today. I really enjoyed it and found it oddly emotional to hear about the closeness of their friendship and how that had endured over the years |

Good start to the new series. Humour, pathos and intrigue, and it was great to see Mark Gatiss dropping in. Loved the description of sports science! Saving the podcast for tomorrow... |

A suitably creepy start.
