I reckon that a lot of their material fell short of their potential, but The Caution Horses is more than worth a listen. A couple of others, who tbh you probably wouldn't want an eight year old basing their technique on: Mary Margaret O'Hara, who recorded only one, extraordinary, proper album, Miss America; and Katherine Joseph. On another tack, and a bit more technicquey, try Anna Järvinen.
