Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Aye, there's a thought - Ross and Brand presenting coverage of the NY Marathon. What kind of "jokes" (which in my opinion were about as funny as toothache but that's for a different thread) make about Paula?

I'm exhausted. Been up since 3am and walked around half of NY already, my back aches and my legs ache, hardly ideal preparation!

Note that the marathon is not being shown in Eurosport UK, for those that have freeview, it is only on Eurosport. So Sky/Virgin is required to watch it :( Looks like I will be watching it on the net......that is crap.

Good luck to everyone, top race, top atmosphere and top city :) Enjoy :):):)

I envy those of you who are running this - wish I was there! Have a great day tomorrow, hope to be able to see some of it on Virgin if I can work out how to find it! :-)

I've walked and walked and walked today and boy do my legs know it! What a day though, fantastic viewing and worth every bit of the tiredness. I've changed my ferry time to 6am so I get a couple of hours in bed, I'll get a cab down there at 5ish, makes a lot more sense. Resting now so should be fine for the morning!
