Ok guys, I have emailed a restaurant in Midtown called Mia Dona. It's an italian. 206 East 58th Street. Got good reviews in the New York Times for good, inexpensive italian food. I have provisionally booked a table for six people for 6.30pm on the Saturday evening. Judging by responses on the article above, those who are interested in eating on the Saturday are: 1. Cavehill75 2. Contro 3. MF 4. Superwoman 5. Red Kate 6. Bosun Tony If anyone on the list doesn't want to eat with us, please let me know. Likewise, if anyone isn't on the list and wants to join us, also please let me know. I said I would email the restaurant back by Sunday (as you can imagine, italian restaurants the night before the NY Marathon book up quick !). Links to the restaurant website: miadona.com Links to the restaurant review: events.nytimes.com Cavehill ps - we can sort out arrangements for meeting once we have final numbers. All are welcome.. Superwoman - I know you're our NY expert, so if there's somewhere else you want to recommend or book, let us know yeah? pps - fireworks are in Central Park @ 7.30pm for those who want to scoot off after dinner and see them.. |

Actually, thinking about it I think I'll give Friday a miss, I'm going to catch the Halloween parade and wanted to try and get up the ESB in the evening, plus the fact I don't actually reach NY until Friday afternoon, I'll more than likely be knackered.

Any idea as to cost in there CH? The reviews I've read indicate it's pretty pricey, but'pretty pricey' to some could mean f*cking pricey to others!

Don't worry, just seen on that review, doesn't look too bad.
