For the run on the last 5km of the course .... i'll pass better not to know or even remember from last year! The only thing I would say is that when you are fresh they are not bad ... now when you have already done 23 miles it is a different story! Although I am thinking in doing a run saturday morning at slow/very slow pace. |

I was thinking about a gentle stroll Saturday morning, I heard, I think over on RW maybe, that the Friendship Run was more like 10k than a couple of miles, I won't be doing that one. I'll be on my feet a fair bit on Saturday though, so will be trying not to put too much into the legs that day. |

I think the new Asics 2140's are launched at the expo as well, so I'll be picking myself up a pair of those.

Right, my bib number is 10740. You can find out here webapps.ingnycmarathon.org I didn't register as I'm going through the charity, but they obviously did it for me, I put in my email address and got a password reminder sent. Those who entered direct should be able to do so easily. I also start in the blue corral. I've updated the article again. |

There's a spreadsheet that tells you everything you ned to know, maybe not so helpful to you having done it before but you can look at your bib number and relate it to which corral and pen you start from. box.net |
