Watched it on Eurosport. Makes you appreciate the BBC coverage of the VLM doesn't it?

Great run by Jo Pavey - really pleased for her

You should have watched the internet coverage via Universal sports TnoP. It was pretty decent and no adverts

Wow. What a fantastic event. I really REALLY enjoyed that. Perfect weather. Fabulous crowd support. Great views of iconic cityscapes. And by far the most international event I have run... Great chatting to marathoners from across the globe before, during, and after the run.

Enjoying a pale ale at the hotel before heading off to 5th avenue for some window shopping, maybe grab a steak sandwich, then head off to the airport to be back at the desk tomorrow pm.

Oh, and this was marathon #80.

Fastest of the year I think... Garmin had it at around 3:51:40 ... But you can tell me details I'm sure. Seemed to be going through most 5k points around 27 minutes for a fair while. Would've come in under 3:50 if it weren't for a loo stop around 16.5 miles.

Very happy with it. I would come back, but I am not sure that would do anything but spoil the memory.

I'm still watching a friend, doing her first ever marathon, running with her husband. Online tracking is great, and I've just phoned her Mum and daughter to tell them that she has just under 2 miles to go. Congratualtions to all runners and finishers.
