My rhr has always been relatively low, there’s a genetic component there as well as the fitness one. Stupid Garmin woke me up with an alert that it had fallen below 40 overnight until I worked out how to turn it off.

34 is impressive though :)

I used to set off the machines in hospital every time I relaxed and it dropped below 45 I think it was. With RHR of 39, that became a bit of a nightmare: I could not sleep!

I fell off my MTB and ended up 48 hrs in a&e nil by mouth as it wasn't urgent...

I begged for a saline and glucose drip after 12 hours. I was so dehydrated, it hurt! They offered opioids, as they didn't understand that hydrating and feeding via the digestive system was an issue but intravenously wasn't 🙄🙄🙄

Fragile Do Not Bend
I’ve spent a lot of nights in hospital but never as a patient :)

To be fair to my Garmin, it doesn’t have a full picture as I only wear it when I’m running or walking. Maybe wearing it all the time gives a more realistic result.

So, where's your fitness age on Garmin Connect?

I can't find it!
