Poppy is there a difference between your upstairs and downstairs scales in terms of readings?

Well done MT!

WP you should also take your downstairs ones upstairs to see if that gives a different reading again 😄

Morning. +0.3/+0.4% after overeating yesterday. A blip I'll get over.

Happy Sunday everyone.

Down 1lb for me this week at my weekend weigh-in .. and am finding myself enjoying using Fitbit & Trendweight to see the daily changes.

Reading the comments above about the accuracy of scales, something I noticed today. I do my weigh-ins in the upstairs bathroom as it is lino rather than carpet. When I first weighed myself, it was higher than I expected. But having heard some creaking from the floorboards, I experimented with different positions and the readings differed by as much as 2lbs. The 1lb off is an 'average' of those reading this morning. But something tells me I should try weighing myself downstairs where there are 'proper' solid floors, just to see how different the readings are.

The stability of the surface under your scales will make a difference. Totally even, solid floor is best. Even cushioned lino (ie in the bathroom) is not ideal.

Despite any accuracy though, it's best to use the same scales and analyse the trend than the exact numbers. Which you all seem to be doing anyway :)
