Yes it’s the Chrome extension, my ‘average’ is Millom which if I’d just done the West Cumbria & South Lakes ones would make sense. But I’ve done The Wammy, Bedford and Eden Project too??

That’s uncanny, my average is Harleston Magpies as well! And I’ve never done a single English parkrun! I have done one in Australia though which will pull my average south by quite a lot.

I think multiple runs at one event all count.

Looks like another snappily named event starting: Dr Bill Hammond Trails parkrun near Fort Myers FL. I'm sure Dr Bill would be very proud.

Yes I’m sure your right Heinzster. My average is actually Tyne Green, don’t know where I got Harleston Magpies from 🤭 but it would surely be a LOT further south if my home parkrun only counted once.

I think multiple runs at one event count, but if your most run event doesn't exist anymore I think it skews the results a bit as not certain if they still count.

Yes that does make sense. So the distance to two singles is outweighed by multiple local ones

Just seen that another one for Norfolk started today at Flegg High - not far from Winterton, Hemsby kind of area. I was just searching the Norfolk ones trying to decide which one to do next week and spotted it was on #1 for today. 3 laps entirely within the grounds of a school and therefore no dogs allowed though so it probably won't be that one that I do tomorrow - but likely to get busy with holiday makers in the area in summer I imagine.

Roberts Park finally started today with a manageable 123 runners, so similar to the other local newbie Chevin Forest which had 125 at the inaugural. I stayed away and went to what is now Bradford's second youngest parkrun, Bowling Park which had a record low attendance of 28 (over 200 less than when i ran event 2) - shame as it's a great park but it helps to like hills as I do! :)

There may be an inaugural parkrun happening near you. Best to check with the local parkrun volunteers to see if they want you to know about it or not.

Otherwise there are plenty of already established parkruns to go to in the UK and abroad, see: parkrun.org.uk
