MAG, are you using Garmin Express? If so, the files are in a different place.

Or if you've got a modern wifi/BT Garmin they're not on the PC at all.

Is it broken again?

Funny story tonight. ... no automatic file transfer from Garmin so I exported the got file and imported it. Clearly something very odd happened since it claimed I had run 32,000 and some odd hundreds of miles today, at a spewed of hundreds of mph.

For a little while I held the "Twice around the world" badge, plus various other astronomical awards!

I've handed them back, naturally ;-)

MMM - did you go for GPX rather than TCX? I had similar the other day.

I've removed all evidence of my fake training! I think. :-)
If I own the whole world that's just a happy accident and an unintended consequence.

And yes, Ian, it was GPX. I do remember the distances were a little off when I used to do it manually, but this seemed excessive!

I think the Express software on my laptop has died (again) since although it finally put the training on the Garmin connect site (although only one session has pulled through to Fetch so far...) the next run didn't even make it that far. :-(

Garmin = Grrmin.

TCX doesn't seem to have the same problem.

if I used anything called Express I wouldn't be surprised to speed all round the world in no time at all.

About This Thread

Maintained by fetcheveryone
Just a little note to say thanks for all the comments here and via feedback. The test phase was useful for knocking off a lot of bugs, but there's nothing like the thrill of putting something live to really get that usability feedback flowing :-)

Here's the TO DO list following feedback from users:

1) Solution for only showing runs since last update - DONE
2) Links on successful import to allow direct route to edit/view - DONE
3) Avoid reloading data on choosing different time view.
4) Stop people pressing the button more than once - DONE
5) Auto detect sport where available.
6) Fix rogue pace zones (reported by Duchess, MacApple et al)
7) Max speed (for Mick173)
8) Smoother import of elevation data.
