phal May 2020 7:49pm, 29 May 2020 2,835 posts	0 phal This has been the bane of my lockdown. (#firstworldproblems) There is an ice cream man who lives down our street. He has two vans and they are out from about 11am onwards.... I think he rotated vans so we get either ‘Popeye the sailor man’ or ‘Just one cornetto’. Today as a change I got Greensleeves for a bit... What does your Ice Cream Van play near you? And can you still hear it even when it’s not there....??? wibble

Rosehip May 2020 9:02pm, 30 May 2020 16,305 posts	0 Rosehip Ours plays " A Ram Sam Sam", I noticed yesterday that the one up and down mum's road every half an hour played "Old McDonald". Both of these make a change from the usual tunes, but after the 3rd or so tie are equally annoying!

jabberknit May 2020 12:11pm, 31 May 2020 3,477 posts	0 jabberknit I'm staying at my Mum's and the local ice cream van here plays the Blue Peter theme at breakneck speed. He seems to drive at that speed too, so I'm not sure how he manages to sell anything.
