Reading is busy...and difficult to escape from afterwards...lots of people leaving from the many carparks. I've done it twice and spectated once.

Surrey half route is different this year, going round Woking only apparently. I think it may be slightly hilly, not sure.

Fleet is my PB course, have you not done it before? I love Fleet, logistically it's so easy to get in and out of, but with a big race atmosphere round the town centre and some ok scenery round the rest of it. I love it. Sells out early!
Reading I haven't done but is the one to go for if you want a big race and the stadium finish, personally I CBA to take the whole day getting there and back and attendant faffage.
Brooklands is supposed to be very flat, starts super early (8am?) so probably good if you are an early bird :)
No idea on the others. I hate Wokingham.

Wokingham is flat and fast if the weather is ok. Which it hasn't been for the last 2 years!

Fleet is nice, twice down the High Street is fun, but has a very cheeky hill at 12.5 miles :-(

Reading as JD says is large, but I think the new course will make it much better. You used to get within 200yds of the finish and then have to go off on a 3/4M loop - 'orrible.

Surrey = ££££.

I've done one each of the first 3 in the last 3 years and am going to do Reading again this year. Woky will be hard to get into this year as everyone from last year gets a carryover due to last year's being flooded out.

yeah I might dump Reading. The finish sounds good but have done the Olympic Stadium run and am doing Bupa 10k and GSR as normal next year for my "big" races.

Wokingham I am in as first year I was injured, and last year cancelled. So automatically in this year and don't have to spend any money.

I am taking Surrey, Reading and Richmond off the list. Brooklands is indeed an 8am start so I might dump that on the basis that I like my sleep :-)

Wokingham is flat but very exposed in places when running over the M3. I was lucky the day I ran it, drizzly but not windy. Can be very cold if it's cold in February. I might consider Brooklands...it's an easy drive from home...hell, it's an easy cycle from home too!

Right Fleet 2016 then ;)

Would add to stories of hideous traffic leaving Reading this year. I had a car park space near the stadium and it took so long to leave we decided to move house whilst in the queue ;) We'd been meaning to talk about it properly for weeks and the queue gave us hours! Next year contemplating cycling, or walking far enough from the stadium to get a bus not going back into town.

Wokingham I could have walked to the start last year...

If you fancy a trip to the seaside then Eastbourne is 1st March or Hastings 22nd. Eastbourne is flat other than one big hill at about 2 miles. Hastings is hilly, but not that slow apparently because of the downhills. Hastings is really well supported and always gets good ratings

Hey Garfield, Wokingham doesn't go over the M3. :-) M4 and A329M.

I've done Fleet before and quite liked it. Good support round the course and not as busy as Reading.
