Wow what a hoty day. The bridge at the end.....wow I walked about 7 times, had nothing left. too hot! Looking for results, did about 1 hour 50 odd...

At least it should be cooler when I do the 12hr race back and forth over the bridge later in the year!!!!

That wasn't too hot, more like 4 hot today! A PW for me, can't get search on results to work yet. It was a case of survival for our club memebrs, but a great race, lovely scenery and loved going over the bridge. |

I'm not convinced by the lovely scenery, Girlie. It's a good few miles round the industrial estates of Barton. I've e-mailed a request for bottled water next year, or full paper cups at the very least, along with a slightly earlier start and parking on the South Bank for those of us who resent lining the pockets of the Bridge Board. It'll be six quid each way next year! |
