To be fair sod, there's nothing I've seen yet saying they'll charge parkrun, so it's a case of wait and see

Our council has charged commercial or other fundraising/paid for events a bond and a fee for a while, I think, but they are clear that as parkrun does not charge the runners, it is exempt from those charges. It may well be that Hull is just catching up with that approach.
