Tiggia - not yet. I only did C25K in the autumn so I'm still new to running (well, new as in it's the first I've done for 21 years). I'm very near to Meltham and quite near to Holmfirth Harriers but with a 1-yr-old and 3-yr-old, it's a challenge to get out of the house before 9pm on a weekday... any recommendations for if things ever get less hectic? SE - good stuff - I'll be the unfit-looking one in a vintage Wednesday top. ![]() |

Stadium Runners is where I was until I stopped to have t'baby. They're really friendly and are really supportive if you just want to go every now and again - they're understanding of family and are just happy to see people whenever suits them. Can understand it's hard to get out before 9 though!

I just wondered because there were a few finishers around 50 mins. I did my home park run on Saturday in about 43 mins and I was last to finish

Sorry, completely missed your question first time! The park is on a hill, not massive at all, but not pancake flat. I ran 44 first run back the other week, and my friend ran walked in 50 last week. The route is a little loop then two laps of the park. Undulating I think would cover it! Do you just fancy a change of scenery? |

Judging by how many runners walked to the top of 'my' hill and then jogged down, I think the terrain does lead to quite a few run-walkers. Based on last week, there would be a fair few coming in slower than 43 / 44 mins. Thanks, Tiggia - the McAlpine (or whatever it's called this week) is the wronf side of Hudds for me but I'll keep it in mind if I'm ever organised enough to join a club (say, in 17 years time or so)... ![]() |

SE - I forgot to add this - the graph not particularly accurate as it doesn't map the internal paths of the park but it does show the approximate elevation... http://www.fetcheveryone.com/routes-view.php?id=1238549&subtab=elevation |

Yes Tigs I do fancy a change of scenery I like to visit other parkruns used to be easier when I had a car though. Doooogs that link just took me to a list of my routes. Hills are good for you make the legs strong but there are not many of them in my part of Manchester
