I have a GARMIN HRM run great monitor very accurate brought in September only now started to give dodgy reading thought it was me at first but doesn't matter what pace I run keeps going to 86/87% Of max. I changed the battery no difference very confused, The pace I'm going should be low 70% been doing it for 10"days now |

Changed top? Recall some complaints on the HR thread about certain fabrics throwing readings for some people... Ask on that thread, lots of talk in the past about these sorts of things. |

I have the HRM-Run which I got with my FR620 about 18 months ago. About 8 weeks ago I started to get very high HR readings. I also tried changing the battery, but it didn't seem to make much difference. However, in the last week or so, the readings are beginning to come back down.

Let me know if that works. I always rinse my strap out after use, but it has been a while since it has had a proper wash.

Haven't washed mine yet, but the data for my run on Tuesday was more in line with what I would expect.
