Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Slow, but quite nice really.

Although I've been moaning my head off about the HRM, since starting to use it nearly all my runs have had smiley faces and I haven't had a single struggly "that felt harder than the pace suggests" run :)

I needed this one today. Forced myself out for a 10-miler.

Not being able to run the FLM through illness really ate me in the days beforehand. I managed half of it and got to meet up with Stumpy and Max, so it was all worth it for different reasons but, motivation has been a bit lacking since.

The HRM is telling me I hit 94% max (173); and 88% ave (161). The max's are fine - they all coincide with pushing myself up hills (much to the annoyance of one cyclist when I passed him). The average seems high at 88% tho. This is around very high aerobic/low anaerobic level isn't it? A bit of watchful wait is in order me thinks.

8.2M in an dead on an hour with another runner on his way back. All on grass or sandy horse trail. Pretty easy run, good conversation, and GPS shows all miles within a 5s split :-)
