Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

A decent effort at parkrun. Penetrating drizzle, so I ended up soaked to the bones.

A felt steady but somewhat inconsistently paced 9 miles this morning.

A nice relaxing 9 miles taking in A limestone woodland that had ancient flint tools from the ice age and animal bones from animals such reindeer and hyena found in the caves. Always find it amazing to think that I am kind of following in the footsteps of ice age people and their pray.

riggys99 An enlightened interpretation and clear evidence that history remains alive, regardless of the number of years that have passed.

10pm Delicate drizzle, a light WNW breeze, slack water and a growing crescent in part cloudy sky. A crime not to run, so run I did: lakes, prom, then N up the beach for a good mile, before trailing it past the baths and via the beach, back to my start. 61 min.

5k early evening. Got the last of the light. Probably should have went a bit further but very wet and windy so happy I went out and did it.

I decided that following the watch's suggestions wasn't pushing my training load, just maintaining it, so I slotted in a 48-minute tempo run after my med-long run yesterday and intervals the day before. Went fine. Felt gratified it was very windy after I got back.

I had a very relaxed 20k LSR after yesterday's 10k race. It felt really good and the time passed quickly. Happy with the overall progress.
