Velociraptor
Flat, interrupted by cattle on the road, back into the wind, five miles is five miles.

I took upon a local hilly little road that the local ski club maintains, but now in the summer it’s all for the runners.
2,5km intervals with some rest in between.
Fun and something different.

Gentle jog to Bognor beach and back today, beach was surprisingly quite given the weather.
Longest run in over a month, did feel a little shattered afterwards, even though it was just over a half.

Meant to do a bit longer but its warm still and I was feeling it from yesterday, so it turned into a 'recovery' run.

I did overtake a horse rider though.

5K tonight when I almost didn’t bother due to feeling tired. Warm out but a nice run and as always glad I did it

5 and a bit miles after nights and before breakfast. Thought o would get out in the cooler part of the day rather than later when I get up. Did some strides and ruining drills on a open field that gets a nice breeze

Bed time now

swittle
Yes, warm last night, even after 11pm. High tide had softened a band of sand, so I'd to choose between that and the regular softer sand up the beach. No such challenge on the trails on the coastal park but I managed to snag a foot in a hole in the sand that had escaped the sea - and was spotted falling by a family group near the prom! :)

Hopefully no damage swittle from the tumble. Always a concern when running on sand. For me it’s the holes dug by people playing on the beach
