Great miles everyone!
Slightly longer club run tonight. Chilly start but soon warmed up.

Trails to Burbo Bank, then along the beach, close to the prom, as the storms and low pressure had produced an unusually high tide 90 min. beforehand. The churning thrum of the breaking waves reminded me of the immense power of the sea. An hour and 2 min., with a few sharp showers thrown in to keep me refreshed.

Well done everyone
After working the last 4 nights with the lurgy I decided rest (and Chinese takeaway plus lots of Yorkshire tea and a irn bru extra) was the best option. Apart from a bit of aching felt i probably could have run in the evening so will be out running on Tuesday

4 miles first run in around a week. Lurgy 90% gone but left with a achey back that felt better as run went on. Tried the new shoes (kiprun ultra light) that have got for Sunday’s 10k and then marathon 2 weeks later.

A little stiff and tight but comfortable enough, tried exploring a new path as a new route but not worthwhile.

Jono.
10k this morning, the 1st outing in November. Decent weather as the sun rose over the liverpool skyline. A bulk carrier, sat quietly on the river with a shepherding tug, waiting to make its way into the port.
