Managed a 10 miler today, not my best time as my legs felt like legs although finished just 1:30:05, very happy though as it was my 4th run this week clocking 43 miles happy enough though.

10.2 miles this afternoon, an even mix of road, trail & beach, keeping out of a keen wind and marvelling at how our countryside readies itself for winter. A carpet of leaves gave way to paths between fields already ploughed and I managed to annoy a large flock of birds feasting there. Finally, in the moonlight, I picked my way along the beach with the dim thunder of waves only feet away. And people ask me why I run....

Great - and to think i nearly opted out on the grounds of cba after X country yesterday.
Went walking with the kids in Sutton Park this am and then finally dragged my ass out onto the open roads at about 3pm this afternoon and did very nearly 7 hilly miles, discovering along the way that my legs weren't nearly as trashed as I thought they would be - happy days!
