Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Nottingham Half - Was aiming for sub 1:45, chip time 1:47:06 which is a PB by 5 seconds ...... 5 second!! perhaps I shouldn't have stopped at the drink station, perhaps I should have been a bit further up the field, perhaps I shouldn't have chatted to Luddy half way round ........ perhaps I should have just ran a little faster :)
Heads down for Worksop now, I will beat 1:45!!!!

Good running Durbat.

I 've just looked at the results and I PBd by 8 seconds so I'm chuffed with that. Not an easy course! See you at Worksop! :-)

3 hour 25 minute long slow yesterday, about 21.5 miles. Windy, and tough on the back of a high mileage week. 1 week until taper begins, I dream of taper...

A nice sensible 5.25miler along a very windy Colwyn Bay prom at ave 64%maxWHR. Very pleased with how legs felt and, looking back, at ave pace (7.29m/m)

Not my finest.... Easy enough 4 mile recovery run but started to notice shin/right knee pain. EP says I need new shoes. I'm inclined to agree....

10.3 miles at 6:44 pace. Didn't overdo it, knee felt ok. Saucony Omnis are at the end of there running life I think now. :( I noticed last week that they were losing a little bit of bounce. Luckily I bought some new ones on Saturday :) which will be introduced to running at the club tomorrow night. The old Sauconys will be now used as general every day trainers and I may have to finally lay the NB 857's to rest. I think Windermere killed them off in May!!
