Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

A nice steady 5 miler at lunchtime, then finished early and, knowing wife/kids wouldn't be home yet, did another 5.6miles in the hills up from the Conwy valley - very wet, but loved it - nice and peaceful - the best destressing tool going!!

12 miles to see if I was in good enough shape to tackle 1/2 marathon next weekend. The answer ? .......... No. Was pleased enough with time, but I felt terrible when I finished. Would prefer to train up for autumn races than do a race next weekend I wouldn't enjoy. Glad I tried though, and it was a really lovely night down by the river. :-)

5 mile race at Great Bentley in Essex - what a great race. Loads of people taking part, very friendly, well marshalled etc etc and best of all I was really happy with my race - new PB of 41'02" [unofficially]

Go me! :)

Lol - I am soooo modest... !
