I don't have a milk pan and can't remember when I last heated milk! It was probably for a baby's bottle and my 'baby' is mum to a 3 year old now.

I have 2 milk pans; 1 small, 1 larger. They get used for every liquid that might require pouring from the pan and also for peas (all varieties), boiled eggs, baked beans etc. As it's my kitchen everyone else follows my lead. :)

I'm not sure I can stand much more of this. I'm going to check none of you barbarians have used my precious without me knowing.

It's all too much.

We have a milk pan which OH uses for heating milk, soup, baked beans etc. I use the microwave for heating such things. I hate the way that beans, milk etc always leaves a film on the bottom of the pan!

I’m also fussy, LF. You’re not alone. And I probably would be funny if Nic did try and use the milk pan for another use to be fair. I think ours just doesn’t get used...

As others have had said its a milkpan not a mil saucepan.

And again, we (we have 2 in fact) get used when the size is appropriate. I often use the non stick one for porridge so yes milk goes in it.

And like Cath I use the steam penis on the frothy coffee machine to heat milk in a jug (and to sometimes make tea).

Would you heat frozen peas in it, for example?
