How do I change the distance of a race in my portfolio?

Click on the race title in your portfolio to go to the race details page, and there you'll see a 'cog' to the right of race distance. Click that to edit it.

You can only edit it if no-one has added it to their portfolio I think. Otherwise you could potentially cause trouble by playing with the distance of big races and messing up people's PBs/WAVAs just for fun!

If you or someone else has added it as wrong distance, then if as Kinky says someone else has added it to their portfolio ( or is it once a time has been added for it ?? ) you'll need to remove it from your portfolio, and add a brand new race with the proper distance

I added the race and i'm the only one to have run it. I have entered it as a 27k and it was a 29k race. So K5 I have to remove it and start again?

From around the week of the race onwards you can't change the distance of a race. Fetch can do it though.

If it won't let you edit it ( maybe because it's in the past, don't know ) then either add a new race, or you could ask Fetch to edit it, but he may be too busy and probably quicker just to copy it to a new race ( rather than start completely from scratch ).

Just had a look - you've put a time in for it, so that's why it wont let you change the distance. Remove it from your portfolio, edit the race listing to the correct distance, re-add it to your portfolio, then put your time in again |
