A wee bit off topic as I'm looking at flats but how easy to get to the start from mile 22 / tower brdge. It looks like it shouldn't be that bad but there's water in the way. Be a long stoat back after if I can even walk the 4 miles or so LOL |

Slightly further out but we stayed at Ramada Jarvis near Heathrow which meant we could come down by car as you can park. We got the tube - zone 5 - and it took about 45 minutes to get to King's Cross and another 30 minutes or so from there to the start. There were plenty other runners using the same transport as me on the day and it started running early! It was cheaper than central London.
