I think it was more people were slowing down rather than the other way around. I just seemed to be able to maintain some sort of amble to the finish line!!

My sorry story is proven by the stats, but I avoided the DNF, that will do me :)

RWR - rather than hover over the map, hover over the graph, moving the cursor on the graph will move the corresponding cusror on the map.

Under the graph, click Time, rather than the default Distance, and you will then see what you want.

Ah, I was just going to suggest what Gus said RWR. Or... have a look on Garmin Connect, where your watch will have uploaded too (assuming you have a Garmin Connect account as well).

My splits are hilarious - I started 390th across timing mat, 313th at Drymen, 206th at Rowardennan, then 195th at Beinglas and 160th at the end. So I overtook 230 people (or those that dropped out). I thought it seemed quite congested! :-) G

This still makes no sense. On the bottom axis of my graph I have figures from 24 - 696 where I would normally expect to see the distance covered in miles. On closer examination, is this supposed to be time in minutes? What use to anyone is that?! On the vertical axis where normally there would be pace of elevation data, I just have '.5' sixteen times against the axis. What is this supposed to represent?
I had already figured out that hovering over the graph changes the map view to the corresponding point, but I hate how sensitive it is and how the map jumps all over the place.
Sorry for de-railing the thread but. This new training log set-up is dreadful.

And actually, all the websites are limited. The absolute best tool for looking at the detail of your Garmin trace is Sport Tracks from Zone Five Software. It used to be free but I think it costs £30 now or something. You can find bits where you have stopped, cut them out, rejoin the trace etc. It's very detailed and really useful.

Fetch's training detail is good, but as you say, a bit simplistic and not that useful on the detail of the Garmin trace.

Anyway, back on the race - I forgot to say that I missed Lintie too on the day, which was gutting. I take it she had to pull out due to injury? What happened, does anyone know? I was so looking forward to seeing her. She was the first person to make me thing "maybe" about ultras! Hope she's OK. :-) G
