Lou, sorry, I didn't mean to put you off coming and cheering, supporting Stoo and running on the route, if you want. Just making sure the official line was highlighted too!
I have parked in Crianlarich a couple of times (loads of room in public car parks) then walked or run up to the WHW route. It's about 1 mile (so a 20 min tramp if walking with a bag of goodies as a supporter). I have then run down the route (stepping off the path to clap and cheer any runner coming towards me) and have then met and run with friends (Flip last year) along the route to jolly them along and have a great chat. I have done the same in WHW too.
It is perfectly possible to support all the runners or an individual, without getting in the way. Just requires care and consideration and a wee bit planning and being prepared to yomp a fair distance - shouldn't be a problem for most of us! :-)G

DO NOT put anything in drop you dont want to see again, or i'll set you on fire.
I will be at 2 CP's, not telling you where as i'll be watching you slacking.

Shanksi - good on you! You'll have your work cut out with 10s or 100s of runners all arriving at once wanting to bleep the machine. Good luck for that

As I understand it, I will be at Balmahahaha (CP1), eager to assist/encourage/cajole/kick all of you crazy runner types (although I must confess to the odd thought of running it someday crossing my mind). Let me know what your race number is in advance & I may give you some personalised motivational* comments.
I will also be at the start, collecting & transporting the dropbags to Balmahaha - if there's 800 runners, then I'll be buggered if I'm sorting it out if you put your drop bags in the wrong place... (This happened repeatedly last year, with quite a few people lobbing *all* their drop bags into the CP1 pile...fortunately we were nice to them & moved them)
I will then also be at the finish, where I am sure that either Duchess or Johnny Fling will make sure I am not idle!
*probably insulting, tbh
