The third series is not definitely confirmed yet, BTW. Hopefully HBO get a decent size audience outside of the UK for this one and decide to go ahead.

There was no indication of how she was subdued either, while in the book it was made clear that Mrs Coulter drugged her in the cave.

Ocelot Spleens Dec 2020 11:17am, 21 Dec 2020 29,426 posts	0 Ocelot Spleens NE, a bit of inference, yes that was the big difference, clearly an episode missing, but they did it well enough, filling it out with COulter stalking around the town and them quite amazingly catching up with everyone else in a day, good runner I assume.
