I'll get to run with runners from all categories rather than just the elite MV40s, which has felt a bit like a time trial the past few years. Relay start is still separate - you've just got to get up a couple of hours earlier than last year 228 individual runners plus 21 relay teams already entered. After 4 days - wow.

In fact i haven't been to Scotland since I was 14 so I was hoping someone could give me advice about where is best to stay, how easy is it to get from Glasgow to Milngavie on public transport and is there any way to get back to Glasgow from Tyndrum on sunday? (not really sure I want to run back!) Thanks
LorraineS Oct 2012 11:54am, 22 Oct 2012 32,206 posts	0 LorraineS very easy to get from Glasgow to Milngavie by train - the race starts by Milngavie train station - would advise staying in Milngavie as the race starts at 6am Tyndrum has two railway stations! There are direct trains to Glasgow
