I'm 35 minutes from a qualifying time for the WS100, guess what my target time at the Fling is? Yep, 11:59 :-)

You'll be showered and changed by then FR.

6am start = :-) for me. I'll get to run with runners from all categories rather than just the elite MV40s, which has felt a bit like a time trial the past few years. Relay start is still separate - you've just got to get up a couple of hours earlier than last year :-)

228 individual runners plus 21 relay teams already entered. After 4 days - wow.

with a 6am start for all I don't get to see all the speedy ones go past which is a shame but then I'm not in it to be a spectator and the great scenery is still there all around me throughout the course

I have entered and am very excited about it. However I don't know the area at all. In fact i haven't been to Scotland since I was 14 so I was hoping someone could give me advice about where is best to stay, how easy is it to get from Glasgow to Milngavie on public transport and is there any way to get back to Glasgow from Tyndrum on sunday? (not really sure I want to run back!) Thanks :-)

very easy to get from Glasgow to Milngavie by train - the race starts by Milngavie train station - would advise staying in Milngavie as the race starts at 6am

Tyndrum has two railway stations! There are direct trains to Glasgow
